Jayne Atkinson

Jayne Atkinson is a distinguished British-American actress recognized for her extensive work across film, television, and Broadway stages. After making her critically acclaimed Broadway debut in a revival of Arthur Miller’s ‘All My Sons’ in 1987, Jayne Atkinson quickly established her formidable presence in the theater community. That same year, she made her Off-Broadway debut in the Manhattan Theatre Club’s production of ‘Bloody Poetry’. Her prolific stage career earned her a Drama Desk Award nomination for ‘The Skriker’ in 1996, a Tony Award nomination for ‘The Rainmaker’ in 1999, and both a Tony Award and Drama Desk nomination for ‘Enchanted April’ in 2003.

Her robust television career continued with her extensive portrayal of BAU Section Chief Erin Strauss in ‘Criminal Minds’, appearing in 24 episodes between 2007 and 2020.
