Jeffrey Alden Dye was born on February 4, 1983, in Seattle and raised in Kent, Washington. He attended Kentwood High School. Dye is of diverse heritage including Spanish, French-Canadian, German, and Jewish descent. His career in comedy began with headlining stand-up shows, leading to wider recognition. A significant early career milestone was his appearance as a finalist on the sixth season of the NBC series ‘Last Comic Standing’, where he finished in third place. This achievement led to a 50-city tour with other top competitors.
