Jeremy Miller

Jeremy James Miller, born on October 21, 1976, in Covina, California, began his acting career at a young age with a McDonald’s commercial, followed by guest appearances in television series such as “Charles in Charge,” “Different Strokes,” “Punky Brewster,” and “Pryor’s Place.” His early work also included the NBC mini-series “Deceptions.” Miller’s most recognized role came with his portrayal of Ben Seaver, the youngest son in the popular television series “Growing Pains,” which ran from 1985 to 1992. He also lent his voice to the character of Linus van Pelt in “Happy New Year, Charlie Brown” and “Snoopy the Musical.”

Following his success on “Growing Pains,” Miller continued to act, co-starring in the TV movie “Based on an Untrue Story.” He took a hiatus from acting to attend the University of Southern California, where he studied drama. His passion for cooking led him to enroll in Le Cordon Bleu’s Culinary Arts program. Miller established his own catering company, “No Small Affair,” and worked as a freelance chef, offering private and group cooking classes. He returned to acting, appearing in the film “Milk and Fashion” in Shanghai and a McDonald’s “Dollar Menunaires” commercial, a parody of VH1’s “Best Week Ever.”

Throughout the 2000s and 2010s, Miller continued to appear in various film and television projects, including “Boys and Girls Guide To Getting Down,” “Ditching Party,” “Never Have I Ever,” “The Fish,” and “Tar Beach.” He also had roles in the horror film “Awakening,” the comedy series “The Comeback Kids,” and the paranormal suspense drama “3rd Eye.” More recently, he has appeared as Detective Holt in the BET+ TV miniseries “Angel” in 2023 and as Detective Derek in “True to the Game 3” in 2021. Miller has also undertaken producing roles, notably as an associate producer and co-producer for “Normal Terror” and “MariGuana,” both released in 2021.
