Je’Rod Cherry

A three-time Super Bowl champion, Je’Rod Cherry was a pivotal figure in the New England Patriots’ dynasty, playing a key role in their victories in XXXVI (2001), XXXVIII (2003), and XXXIX (2004). As a special teams player and defensive back, Cherry recorded 50 special teams tackles during his tenure with the Patriots from 2001 to 2004, including 12 in both the 2001 and 2002 regular seasons, and 13 in both the 2003 and 2004 regular seasons. Prior to joining the Patriots, Cherry was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the 2nd round (40th overall) of the 1996 NFL Draft, playing for the team from 1996 to 1999. He then had brief stints with the Oakland Raiders and the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2000 season.

Cherry continues to be a respected voice in sports, further advancing his broadcasting career in 2022 when he joined the main game broadcast team as a sideline analyst and reporter for the Cleveland Browns radio network. His extensive experience as a three-time Super Bowl champion, coupled with his academic background and established presence in sports commentary, positions him as a highly sought-after expert and personality in the industry.
