Jes Macallan

Jes Macallan is an accomplished actress and director, recognized for her lead roles in prominent television series and her work behind the camera. After starring as Josslyn Carver for four seasons in the ABC drama series Mistresses (2013–2016), Jes Macallan solidified her reputation as a compelling lead actress. Macallan’s professional journey began with a successful modeling career from 2001 to 2004, working in prominent fashion hubs like Miami, New York, and Milan. Following comprehensive Meisner intensive acting training at the Maggie Flanigan Studio in New York City, she quickly gained traction in television with appearances in acclaimed series such as Shameless (2011), Justified (2011), Grey’s Anatomy (2012), NCIS: Los Angeles (2012), and Femme Fatales (2012).

Her directorial work continued with an episode of OWN’s All Rise (2023) and multiple episodes for The CW’s All American (2022–2025). Expanding her directorial footprint, Macallan directed an episode of The CW’s All American: Homecoming (2024) and is slated to direct an episode for NBC’s Found (2025). Beyond her acting and directing pursuits, Macallan is actively engaged in producing, developing multiple projects and adapting novels alongside her partner, Nic Bishop.
