A veteran performer, Venezuelan American actor Jesse Corti is a true force of talent. His career spans four decades and countless roles in theatre, live-action television, and voice acting. Corti has lent his voice to dozens of characters in animated films; perhaps best known for his performances as Le Fou in 1991s Beauty and The Beast and as Courfeyrac in Broadway’s Les Misérables, Corti has been capturing the minds of both adults and children alike since his career began.
Getting his start in theatre, Corti, who was raised in New Jersey, has risen to the very top of his industry. Over the years, Corti has appeared in numerous feature films, animated and live-action TV series, video games and commercials. His gravitas has won him roles in animated features, including as the Spanish Dignitary in worldwide phenomenon Frozen, and as Mr Manchas in Zootopia. Television credits include Law & Order, Desperate Housewives, Goldie and Bear, The West Wing, Mia and the Migoo and cult classic Rugrats. He received a Clio Award for his Drug-Free America commercial in 1990.
In recent years, Corti has voiced an enviously diverse range of characters in blockbuster video games, including Death Stranding, the Just Cause series, Red Dead Redemption II, Resident Evil 4, the Uncharted series, and BioShock Infinite. When not taking centre stage, Corsi directs, with recent credits including the ever-popular Hairspray. A dominant figure in the theatre and voice acting worlds, Corsi has a glowing career set out ahead of him.
