Jessica Lord

Jessica Lord, born on July 29, 1998, in Rochdale, England, later relocated to Port Perry, Canada, at the age of six. She pursued her education at O’Neill Collegiate and Vocational Institute in Oshawa, specializing in dance, and furthered her studies at Centennial College Theatre Arts and Performance. Her career began officially in 2015 with her on-screen debut as a dancer in four episodes of “The Next Step” (series 3), a Canadian teen drama. She later became a series regular as Lola during the fifth series of “The Next Step” in 2017.

In 2018, Lord gained international recognition for her lead role as Lena Grisky in the Disney+ series “Find Me in Paris,” a role she maintained for three seasons and 78 episodes until the series concluded in 2020. This role involved portraying a Russian princess and apprentice ballerina time-traveling from 1905 to 2018. Her work on “Find Me in Paris” significantly expanded her global reach, as the show was made available in over 130 countries. Beyond this, she appeared in various productions, including a guest role as Tatiana in the CBS crime drama “Ransom” in 2019 and a role as Alice in the pilot episode of Freeform’s “Party of Five” in 2020. Her film credits include “Binged to Death” (2023) as Sienna, “Murder at Hollow Creek” (2024) as Jessica Rhodes, and “The Real Bros of Simi Valley: The Movie” (2024) as Ventura. She is also slated to star as Bowyn Sykes in the upcoming Lifetime holiday movie “Christmas in the Spotlight” (2024), inspired by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

Beyond her acting career, Jessica Lord has demonstrated entrepreneurial drive as the founder and CEO of Bizouxx, a jewelry brand launched in December 2023. She is also an activist and ambassador for Teen Cancer America, actively supporting causes related to women and young people through initiatives such as dance workshops and charity fundraisers. Her activities reflect a commitment to using her platform for positive impact.
