Jill Whelan

Jill Whelan has traversed a career path from child actor to cruise ambassador, maintaining relevance in entertainment and media. After being cast as Vicki Stubing in the iconic American television series ‘The Love Boat’ at age 11, Jill Whelan quickly became a series regular, maintaining the role for six of the show’s nine seasons from 1977 to 1986. During this period, Whelan expanded her filmography with a notable role as Lisa Davis, a heart transplant patient, in the 1980 disaster comedy film ‘Airplane!’. Her early career was marked by consistent television appearances, including guest roles in shows like ‘Fantasy Island,’ ‘Vegas,’ and ‘Trapper John, M.D.,’ as well as appearances on game shows such as ‘Family Feud’ and ‘Super Password.’ In the mid-1980s, she also served as a national spokeswoman for First Lady Nancy Reagan’s ‘Just Say No’ anti-drug campaign.

Her acting work also encompasses guest roles in series such as ‘Criminal Minds’ (2016) and ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (2015). In addition to her media and entertainment work, Whelan owns and operates an acting school in the Greater Philadelphia area, sharing her expertise with aspiring performers.
