Jillian Rose Reed gained significant recognition for her series regular role as Tamara Kaplan in MTV’s critically acclaimed original scripted series ‘Awkward.’ Portraying Jenna Hamilton’s best friend for five seasons (2011-2016), Reed’s performance earned her a Young Artist nomination for Lead Actress for Best Performance in a TV Series in 2012. Prior to this, she established her presence in television with a recurring role as Goth Girl Symonne in the Showtime series ‘Weeds’ from 2008 to 2009, acting alongside Hannah Marks, Alexander Gould, and Mary Louise Parker. Expanding her filmography, Reed took on starring roles in feature films including ‘My Super Psycho Sweet 16,’ ‘Age of Dinosaurs’ as Jade Jacobs (2013), and ‘Confessions of a Womanizer’ as Megan (2014). Her voice acting work includes the character of Alice in the short film ‘Finding Alice’ (2014).
Her recent feature film credits include ‘Sharon 1.2.3.’ as Linda in 2018.
