Jim Florentine

Jim Florentine has built a career as a comedian, actor, and writer, known for his unique comedic voice and distinct characters. After achieving widespread recognition in 2002 when he was cast in Comedy Central’s ‘Crank Yankers,’ Jim Florentine went on to establish himself as a distinctive voice in comedy, notably lending his talents to iconic characters Special Ed and Bobby Fletcher. His prank call albums, ‘Terrorizing Telemarketers Volume 1’ (released 2001) and ‘Volume 2,’ gained significant traction after being featured on “The Howard Stern Radio Show,” propelling his Amazon.com ranking to number 2. This early success caught the attention of Eminem, leading to collaborations and appearances at the MTV Music Awards in 2004.

In 2018, Florentine expanded his creative output with the publication of his book, ‘Everybody is Awful (Except You!),’ which quickly became a number one bestseller on the Book Soup nonfiction chart. Continuing his prolific career, Jim Florentine currently hosts ‘The Jim Florentine Show’ on Sirius XM Satellite Radio, alongside his popular podcast, ‘Everybody Is Awful (Except You).’ Most recently, he released his stand-up special ‘Jim Florentine: Bite the Bullet’ in 2022, adding to his robust body of work.
