Kyle Dake

Between 2010 and 2013, he achieved this feat uniquely across four different weight classes—141 lb, 149 lb, 157 lb, and 165 lb—and without utilizing a redshirt season. During this period at Cornell University, Dake amassed an exceptional collegiate record of 137-4, culminating in an impressive 77-match winning streak and two undefeated seasons. His senior year performance in 2013 earned him both the prestigious Dan Hodge Trophy and the Schalles Award, in addition to securing three EIWA titles in 2010, 2012, and 2013. Transitioning seamlessly to senior-level freestyle wrestling, Dake quickly made his mark on the international stage.

In 2015, he secured the US National Champion title at 86 kg and a gold medal at the US Open Championships in the same weight class. His international success continued with a Grand Prix of Paris Gold Medal at 74 kg in 2017 and a Silver Medal at the Golden Grand Prix Ivan Yarygin (79 kg) in 2018. The year 2018 also saw Dake as a US World Team Member at 79 kg, earning a team Gold Medal at the World Cup, a Yasar Dogu International Gold Medal, and a US Open Championships Gold Medal at 79 kg. He then went on to capture his first two World Champion titles at 79 kg, winning back-to-back in 2018 and 2019, the latter preceded by a Grand Prix of Spain Gold Medal.

Looking ahead, Kyle Dake is set to compete for the RAF Cruiserweight Champion title in 2025.
