Jimmy Dore gained early national recognition with a half-hour special on ‘Comedy Central Presents’ in 2004, building on a stand-up comedy career that began in 1989. After moving to Los Angeles in 1995, he appeared on Comedy Central’s ‘Make Me Laugh’ and late-night talk shows including ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’, ‘The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn’, and ‘Late Friday’. Dore co-wrote and performed in the off-Broadway show ‘The Marijuana-Logues’ in New York City and performed at prestigious comedy festivals globally, such as Just for Laughs in Montreal, the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and the Amsterdam Comedy Festival, as well as for U.S.

Dore continued his comedic output with the release of the comedy special ‘Sentenced to Live’ in 2015, which further showcased his political humor and critique of corporate media.
