The multi-talented, affable and bubbly Jo De La Rosa is best known for being one of the original cast members of Bravo TV’s hit reality show, Real Housewives of Orange County. She later started her own company, Jo De La Rosa & Co., as a platform to create fashion, beauty and lifestyle content in the hope of helping women feel their best and help them create a life they love. As a Content Creator, and a fashion and beauty influencer, she now produces a regular podcast, PopCandy, with photographer friend, Crystal Nicole.
Rosa was born and raised in Peru. In 1994, her parents won the California lottery and moved the family to Mission Viejo. She was only 23 when she began filming Season 1 of the reality TV show, Real Housewives of Orange County, which premiered in 2006. At the time, she was a recent college graduate who had dreams of going to law school, and who had just been accepted into UCLA’s dance program. She starred in RHOC for the first two seasons, but elected not to participate full-time in the third season of RHOC after scoring a recording contract with Immergent Records – her debut album, Unscripted, was released in 2008. She was also given her own, short-lived, spin-off show, Date My Ex: Jo & Slade. Since stepping away from the cameras, Rosa has dedicated her time to becoming a fashion and beauty influencer, using the insights she gained while working on RHOC with some of the most talented stylists and make-up artists in the industry. And she has been documenting her journey through social media, with a regular podcast, PopCandy, and through video blogs on her self-titled YouTube channel.
Rosa regularly connects with her legions of dedicated followers and fans through Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok, posting pictures and videos of her personal and professional life. She is available for that personalised shout-out via the Cameo platform, and has her own YouTube channel, Jo De La Rosa, as well as an official website, jodelarosa.com.
