Joel Stephen “Joey” Greco is an American television personality and actor, best known as the host of the reality TV show Cheaters where he was the host for ten seasons. Cheaters is a weekly reality television series featuring couples with one partner committing adultery, or cheating, on the other partner. Investigations are headed by the “Cheaters Detective Agency”. It began airing in 2000, and has aired 19 seasons so far with Joey holding the card for longest standing host. Other hosts include Tommy Habeeb and Clark James Gable.
Greco’s career in television evolved incredibly naturally for such a driving talent. Greco was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He graduated from Evangel University, a private liberal arts college in Springfield, Missouri, with a BA in psychology, and received a Master’s Degree in counselling at Louisiana Tech University. He began his career as a counsellor, later becoming a fitness instructor in Dallas, before switching careers yet again to become a real estate manager. In 2002 he took over the hosting role on Cheaters and starred in many television commercials at the time. After his final series on the show, he was then added to the credits as co-producer.
In 2010, Greco starred in, wrote, and produced a pseudo-reality series Ghostbreakers, which features 18 episodes and can all be found online. Greco was a guest and was also the moderator at the world renowned San Diego Comic-Con in 2010 for the short film The House That Drips Blood on Alex.
