John Salley transitioned from a celebrated NBA player, uniquely earning championships with three different franchises, to a prominent vegan activist, wellness entrepreneur, and actor. After a successful college career at Georgia Tech, where he led the Yellow Jackets to the 1985 ACC Championship and had his jersey number 22 retired, Salley was drafted 11th overall by the Detroit Pistons in the 1986 NBA draft. He quickly became an integral part of the Pistons’ ‘Bad Boys’ era, contributing to their NBA championships in both 1989 and 1990. Following his successful tenure with the Pistons, Salley played for the Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors before joining the Chicago Bulls in 1996, where he secured his third NBA championship during their record-breaking 72-win season, making him the first player in NBA history to win championships with three different franchises.

He is also a notable entrepreneur in the cannabis industry, having launched his brand Deuces22. Salley continues to lend his expertise, serving on the Advisory Board for StationDigital, and remains a sought-after personality across sports, entertainment, and wellness sectors.
