Alain Ngalani

Five-time World Kickboxing and Muay Thai Champion, Alain Ngalani, has built an illustrious career marked by numerous international titles and record-breaking performances. After immigrating to Hong Kong in 2001, Ngalani quickly extended his competitive reach across Asia, securing the WPMF Muay Thai Heavyweight World Champion title in 2004. He became a prominent figure in the ‘Planet Battle’ promotion, where he earned back-to-back Planet Battle Heavyweight World Champion titles in 2009 and 2010. During this period, Ngalani achieved notable victories over formidable opponents, defeating Michael McDonald in June 2008, Eduardo Maiorino in June 2009, and Bob Sapp via decision in October 2009, further solidifying his reputation.

His success culminated in capturing the IKA Super Heavyweight World Champion title in 2011. Ngalani transitioned to mixed martial arts in 2013, making an explosive debut with ONE Championship in September 2013, where he defeated Mahmoud Hassan with a 31-second spinning heel kick knockout. His agility and power continued to define his MMA career, leading to his fastest heavyweight knockout in ONE Championship history in September 2017, when he stopped Hideki Sekine in just 11 seconds. He participated in ONE Championship’s first-ever openweight superfight against Aung La Nsang in November 2017 and secured a split decision victory over Ariunbold Tur-Ochir at ONE Championship: Iron Will in March 2018.
