Josh Todd is the iconic lead singer of the rock band Buckcherry. As its last remaining original member, he has become the celebrated band’s most vital member and one of heavy rock’s most prominent singers. Born in Los Angeles, Todd was already a recognised figure in the rock scene before forming Buckcherry in Anaheim. The band released their self-titled debut album in 1999, which included hits such as “Lit Up”, which has since reached over 25 million streams. In 2001, the band’s album Time Bomb saw Todd collaborate with Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum. He then went on to release the solo album You Made Me in 2003.
In 2006 came one of Buckcherry’s most successful albums to date, 15. The album reached No.2 on the U.S. Indie Charts and tracks such as “Crazy Bitch” and “Sorry” have accumulated over 70 million streams and reached a top 10 place in the Billboard Hot 100, respectively. In 2008, they released the high-powered Black Butterfly album which reached No.3 on the U.S. Rock Charts. In the same year Todd collaborated with no less than Mötley Crüe. 2 years later, their new album All Night Long saw them reach No.3 on both the Rock and Indie charts. In the years following, the band powered through the rock scene, releasing several successful albums such as Confessions in 2013, Rock n Roll in 2015 and Warpaint most recently in 2019. The band are set to release a new album in 2021.
As part of the heavy rock band Josh Todd and the Conflict, Todd also released the album Year of the Tiger in 2017. Todd is one of rock’s most dynamic and versatile artists, with only greater things to come.
