Joshua Colley

Joshua Colley began his acting career in theatre, making his Broadway debut in 2012 at the age of 11, portraying Les in “Newsies The Musical.” His early success in musical theatre continued, leading to him playing Gavroche in “Les Misérables” on Broadway from 2014 to 2015. He also performed this role as a replacement in the “Les Misérables – 25th Anniversary” tour. Colley demonstrated a notable ability to embody younger characters, taking on the role of 9-year-old Calogero in “A Bronx Tale the Musical” in 2016, despite being 14 years old at the time. His theatrical background provided a strong foundation for his subsequent work.

Transitioning to screen roles, Colley has appeared in various television series and films. He voiced Pig Robinson in the animated TV series “Peter Rabbit” from 2014 to 2016. More recently, he gained recognition for his roles in contemporary productions such as “Senior Year” (2022) as Yaz, “Sex Appeal” (2022) as Tristan, and “Love, Victor” (2022) where he appeared in two episodes as Liam. In 2024, he took on multiple roles, including Hook in “Descendants: The Rise of Red” across two related TV series and Monty in five episodes of the Netflix series “Dead Boy Detectives.

Beyond acting, Colley has contributed to soundtracks, performing songs like “Life is Sweeter” and “Perfect Revenge” for “Descendants: The Rise of Red,” and both performing and writing “When You Are Happy” for “Sex Appeal.” His consistent work in varied productions, from Broadway stage to streaming services, highlights his adaptability and dedication to his craft. He continues to expand his presence in the entertainment industry with upcoming projects such as “Brian” and the podcast series “Moonburn.”
