Joshua Malina

Joshua Malina is an American actor known for his roles in notable television dramas and films, bringing a wealth of dramatic experience to his performances across various platforms. After making his Broadway debut in Aaron Sorkin’s ‘A Few Good Men,’ Joshua Malina established a significant professional relationship with the acclaimed writer, frequently appearing in his subsequent projects. Malina’s early film career began with a role in the 1992 film adaptation of ‘A Few Good Men,’ followed by an appearance as Agent Chavez in Clint Eastwood’s 1993 thriller ‘In the Line of Fire,’ and a notable role as David in Rob Reiner’s ‘The American President’ in 1995. He further expanded his cinematic presence with a role as Bill Feldman in Warren Beatty’s 1998 political satire ‘Bulworth.’ On television, he appeared in ‘The Larry Sanders Show’ before taking on a starring role as Jeremy Goodwin in Sorkin’s acclaimed comedy-drama ‘Sports Night,’ which aired from 1998 to 2000.

Beyond acting, Malina ventured into production and writing, co-creating and executive producing the Bravo series ‘Celebrity Poker Showdown’ from 2003 to 2005. He also wrote for and created the web series ‘Backwash’ between 2010 and 2011. In recent years, Malina has returned to the stage, performing on Broadway in Tom Stoppard’s critically acclaimed play ‘Leopoldstadt’ in 2023.
