DDPY was developed by WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) in response to a near career ending back injury which involved two ruptured discs in his spine.

Page Joseph Falkinburg Jr., known professionally as Diamond Dallas Page (DDP), was born on April 5, 1956, in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. His early career involved collegiate basketball, followed by owning and promoting nightclubs in South Florida. At 35, he embarked on a professional wrestling career, a notably late start that led him to become a WWE Hall of Famer. DDP captivated audiences in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and later the World Wrestling Federation (WWF/WWE), engaging in high-profile matches against wrestlers such as Hulk Hogan, Goldberg, Ric Flair, and Randy “Macho Man” Savage. His wrestling career, marked by multiple championships including three WCW World Heavyweight titles, demonstrated his resilience and dedication to the sport.
Following extensive injuries during his wrestling career, DDP turned to yoga for rehabilitation, which led him to develop DDP YOGA in 2011. This program, designed for a general audience, rapidly gained traction, with hundreds of thousands adopting his method through DVDs and the DDPYOGANOW App. The program is utilized by numerous athletes and musicians. His work extends beyond fitness into film and television, with appearances in projects like “The Resurrection Of Jake The Snake,” “Ready To Rumble,” “First Daughter,” and “The Devil’s Rejects,” as well as television shows “Hollywood Squares” and “Shark Tank.” He also stars in the upcoming series “Gods & Secrets.”
DDP’s career highlights include his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame and significant film roles.
