Julia Ducournau is an award-winning French film director and screenwriter recognized for her contributions to modern horror cinema. After winning the Petit Rail d’Or at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival for her short film Junior, Julia Ducournau went on to establish herself as a formidable voice in contemporary cinema, known for her distinctive and visceral directorial style.
