Robson Broad is a professional British singer and actor best known for his role in the award-winning musical Hamilton. On September 28th, 2018, Broad announced that he would join the cast of the musical, and thus made his debut at West End. Hamilton is a critically acclaimed musical that won seven Olivier awards the same year that he had joined the cast. For Broad, stepping onto the West End stage to perform alongside the Hamilton cast is the achievement of a life-time, and marks the beginning of what will become a long, successful career.
Broad grew up with a fiery passion for theatrical performances. His first professional training came from the ZooNation Youth company. Here, he showed massive potential as an actor, and for this he earned the Stage Scholarship award. While training with ZooNation, he appeared in Aladdin at the Towngate Theatre in Basildon. After years of theatrical experience under his belt, Broad eventually graduated from The Centre Performing Arts College, where he learned essential skills as a dancer and musical theatre student. After graduating from the school, Broad ended up joining the Centre agency, and was awarded the opportunity of a lifetime: jumping into his first West End performance alongside the Hamilton cast.
