Juno Temple

Juno Violet Temple was born in London, England, on July 21, 1989, to film producer Amanda Temple and film director Julien Temple. Her early years included time in America before her family settled in Somerset, England. At the age of four, inspired by Jean Cocteau’s “Beauty and the Beast,” she decided to pursue acting. Her father cast her in his films “Vigo” (1998), though her scenes were later cut, and “Pandaemonium” (2000). She attended King’s College in Taunton and later Bedales School in Hampshire, where she studied Drama.

At 15, Temple secured her breakout role as Cate Blanchett’s daughter in “Notes on a Scandal” (2006) after an open audition. This led to a significant role as Lola in “Atonement” (2007). In 2009, she relocated to Los Angeles to further her acting career. Her filmography expanded with roles in “The Three Musketeers” (2011), “The Dark Knight Rises” (2012), and “Maleficent” (2014). A turning point in her career came in 2013 when she received the BAFTA Rising Star Award, recognizing her emerging talent and public appeal.

More recently, Temple has gained widespread acclaim for her television work. She earned Primetime Emmy Award nominations for her role as Keeley Jones in the Apple TV+ comedy series “Ted Lasso” (2020–2023). She also received Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominations for her lead role as Dot Lyon in the fifth season of the crime drama series “Fargo” (2023–2024). Her recent film projects include “Venom: The Last Dance” (2024) and upcoming roles in “Roofman” (2025) and “Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die” (2025).
