One of the most prolific special teams players in the NFL, Justin Hardee is the definition of what anyone can achieve with hard work. The Football star is a cornerback for legendary National Football League (NLF) team the New York Jets and signed a $5.25 million contract with the Jets in March 2021. But there’s much more to the cornerback/special teams standout than his skills on the football field – the intelligent cornerback is the owner of 3 college degrees and a Papa John’s Franchise. Hardee spent a year pursuing the pizza franchise in New Orleans, seeking advice from Jets former defensive back Aaron Glenn and his former New Orleans Saints teammate Malcolm Jenkins, who owns ten Papa John’s franchises.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Hardee played college football at Illinois after committing as a three-star prospect out of Glenville High School. The cornerback played as wide receiver in college, and was signed by Houston Texas in 2017 before he was waived and transferred to the New Orleans Saints’ practice squad. Following his stellar play on special teams, Hardee was signed by the Jets in 2021.
In 2013 the star player sadly lost his Mum to lung disease, but the determined football star never gave up and finished his communications degree in 2017. Talented and hardworking both on and off the football field, Hardee continues to prove his resilience and character.
