Justin Theroux made his film debut in I Shot Andy Warhol (1996) and quickly built a diverse acting career, appearing in films such as Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion (1997) and American Psycho (2000). He gained significant recognition for his collaborations with director David Lynch, starring in the critically acclaimed surrealist art films Mulholland Drive (2001) and Inland Empire (2006). Theroux also notably played the Evil DJ in Zoolander (2001) and appeared in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle (2003) and Miami Vice (2006), alongside a recurring role in HBO’s Six Feet Under (20032004). In 2006, he expanded his creative contributions by directing his first feature film, Dedication.
Most recently, Theroux co-starred in the satirical political miniseries White House Plumbers for HBO in 2023. He appeared in the first season of Peacocks critically acclaimed Poker Face in 2023, and will be seen co-starring in the highly anticipated film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice set for release in 2024. His upcoming television projects include a starring role in the series Running Point (2025) and an appearance in the second season of Amazon’s hit series Fallout.
