Actor, author, comedian and viral internet star Karlos Dillard is known for his outspoken nature and fearless approach when it comes to difficult topics.
Dillard had a tough childhood, spending most of his youth in and out of foster care before being abandoned when he was just 15 years old. He started working to put himself through the rest of high school and later college, meeting his now husband while he was studying. The pair now host a hugely popular podcast together called Kicking It with Kris and Karlos where they talk about everything from gay marriage, current affairs, political news and white privilege. Dillard is a multitalented performer, and as well as co-hosting his own podcast he also tours regularly as a stand up comedian, acts in TV commercials and shows, and models for photographers and fashion brands. These include at the Northwest Fashion Awards 2017 and in the Human Canvas Project with eminent photographer Art Wolfe. He is also an author, having self published his memoir Ward of the State: A Memoir of Foster Care which was picked up by numerous major retailers.
