Karoline Offigstad Knotten, born on January 6, 1995, in Tromsø, Norway, has developed into a distinguished biathlete on the international stage. Her professional career began in 2014, and she made her Biathlon World Cup debut in 2018. Knotten’s early career saw steady development on the IBU Cup circuit before transitioning to the World Cup team in 2019. Since then, she has become an integral part of the Norwegian women’s relay team, contributing to numerous successes.
The 2023/24 season marked a significant milestone in Knotten’s career, as she achieved her best World Cup performance, finishing ninth in the World Cup Total Score. This successful season included a career-best second-place finish in the Östersund Sprint and two additional fourth-place finishes. Her consistent performance in team events is noteworthy, with 16 relay/mixed relay podiums, including 11 victories. Knotten has also secured two World Championship Medals, both silver, in the Mixed Relay at the 2024 Nové Město championships and the 4 x 6 km relay at the 2025 Lenzerheide championships.
