Kay Adams

Kay Adams was born on April 6, 1986, in Chicago, Illinois. Her parents were immigrants from Poland. She developed an interest in media during her time at Whitney M. Young Magnet High School. Adams pursued her education at the University of Missouri, majoring in communications. During her studies, she gained practical experience through various part-time roles, including working as a bartender at a sports bar and as a radio personality on local music and sports stations. This early exposure laid the groundwork for her career in sports broadcasting.

Her professional journey began with an in-game host position for the St. Louis Cardinals at their home games. Adams then moved into fantasy football programming, hosting shows such as SiriusXM’s ‘Livin’ the Fantasy’ and ‘SiriusXM Fantasy Drive,’ along with DirecTV’s ‘NFL Sunday Ticket Fantasy Zone.’ She also served as a reporter for NBC Sports Network, making occasional appearances on shows like ‘The Crossover with Michelle Beadle’ and ‘NBC SportsTalk.’ From 2016 to 2022, Adams was a co-host of ‘Good Morning Football’ on NFL Network, a year-round morning show that airs Monday through Friday. This role allowed her to discuss football in an accessible way, building a rapport with players, industry figures, and fans. She also hosted special events for the Chicago Bears and worked as a sideline reporter for Kansas City Chiefs exhibition games. In 2020, she hosted a mobile version of ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ and ‘People (the TV show!),’ a daily entertainment newsmagazine, until 2022.

After leaving NFL Network in 2022, Adams launched her own daily NFL sports show, ‘Up & Adams,’ for FanDuel TV. The program, which debuted on September 6, 2022, has been recognized for its contribution to growing the channel’s viewership. Her consistent presence and engaging style have made football more accessible and enjoyable for a diverse audience.
