Kelsey Leon, a two-time overall national champion soloist dancer, earned seven category national championships across jazz, lyrical, and contemporary styles, building over 12 years of extensive experience training with industry choreographers such as Tessandra Chavez, Matt Steffanina, and Rudy Abreu. Her early dance career included performing with the prestigious Joffrey West in 2015 and the Unity Dance Ensemble in 2016. That same year, she showcased her talents for events like MSA Xmas Around the World featuring Shoshana Bean and joined the Boys of Summer Tour with Johnny Orlando. Leon simultaneously launched her modeling career, becoming a model for Miss Behave Girls in 2015 and walking the runway for Isabella Couture at LA Fashion Week in 2016.
Transitioning her focus, Leon began to secure significant roles in television and commercial productions. In 2016, she appeared as a Background Actor in Nickelodeons ‘Thundermans.’ The following year, 2017, marked a breakthrough as she was cast as Guest Actor Mindy on Nickelodeon’s ‘Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn,’ where she also featured as a Dancer/Actor. Leon further expanded her acting portfolio with background roles in acclaimed series such as ABC’s ‘How to Get Away with Murder,’ Netflix’s ‘Fuller House,’ and Amazon Prime’s ‘Just Add Magic.’ She refined her craft through dedicated training with esteemed coaches including Brooke Byler, Kaley Hummel, Celeste Pechous, and Andrew Magarian, alongside vocal training with Jennifer Dustman. Leon’s dynamic talent as a dancer and actor was prominently featured in Latin Grammy Winner Nicky Jams music video El Amante in 2017, directed by Jessy Terrero, a production that garnered significant global attention.
