Kévin Cabral was born on July 10, 1999, in Paris, France. He began his youth football career at the esteemed Paris Saint-Germain Youth Academy, where he developed foundational skills before transitioning to Valenciennes FC in 2017. Cabral made his professional debut for Valenciennes in Ligue 2 during the 2018-2019 season. His time with Valenciennes saw him participate in 63 matches across all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing 3 assists, establishing himself as a promising forward within French football. His performances in France positioned him for an international move.

In April 2021, Cabral signed a five-year deal with LA Galaxy in Major League Soccer (MLS), marking a significant transfer in his career. During his tenure with LA Galaxy, he played in 61 matches, contributing 6 goals and 2 assists. His impactful performances led to him being named to the Team of the Matchday for a two-goal performance against Minnesota and securing a game-winning goal against his former club, LA Galaxy, after his subsequent move. On December 8, 2022, Cabral was traded to the Colorado Rapids in exchange for $1 million in General Allocation Money.
