Kevin M. Connolly is an American voice actor, scriptwriter and director. He was born in 1974 in Tucson, Arizona and is of Irish/Hispanic heritage. He first started to act at Robert E. Lee High School and studied Theatre Arts at the University of the Incarnate Word. In 1998 he moved on to a Master of Theatre Arts course at UCLA, after university he initially worked in theatre in Texas in locations such as the Josephine Theatre and San Antonio Little Theatre, where he had a range of experience working as an actor, technician, carpenter and light and set designer. In 2004 he moved to Dallas to continue his career.
Connolly started his work as a voice-over artist with Funimation’s anime English version of ‘Case Closed’. He moved on to voice many roles in Finimation anime for example ‘Kain Fuery’ in the series ‘Fullmetal Alchemist’. He was ‘Takayuki Narumi’ in ‘Rumbling Hearts’. He has worked as a voice actor for ‘Bang Zoom! Entertainment’, ‘ADV Films’ and ‘Illumitoon Entertainment’. He has worked doing voice over for visual novels, audio books, video games and commercials and now lives in Los Angeles. Connolly is a fan of the band ‘Iron Maiden’ and is an amateur singer and guitar player and is also a collector of comic books.
