United States Kimber Lee, a prominent figure in professional wrestling, is recognized for her accomplishments across various organizations including WWE, Impact Wrestling, and the independent circuit, making her a valuable and versatile talent.
Kimber Lee officially signed a long-term contract with IMPACT Wrestling on August 4, 2020, becoming a regular part of their roster and storylines until 2022. During her tenure, she was involved in various matches and alliances, including aligning with Deonna Purrazzo and later adapting the Undead Realm gimmick.
In January 2017, Kimber Lee, under her real name Kimberly Frankele and later as Abbey Laith, joined the WWE Performance Center. She appeared on the NXT brand and participated in the Mae Young Classic tournament in 2017. Her contract with WWE concluded in March 2018.
Kimber Lee announced on her Instagram that she became a brand ambassador for Red Aspen Love, expressing enthusiasm to share their products with her followers.
Kimberly Ann Frankele, known professionally as Kimber Lee, was born on June 27, 1990, in Seattle, Washington. Her early career involved training in dance, which provided a foundation for her later transition into professional wrestling. After relocating to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for college, she began her wrestling training at the Combat Zone Wrestling Academy. She became the first female to graduate from this institution, an achievement that marked the beginning of her professional career in 2011, under the ring name Kimber Lee. Her debut match in Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) took place in October 2011, where she secured a victory against Austin Uzzie in an intergender match.
Throughout 2013 and 2014, Lee continued to compete in CZW, participating in both women’s and intergender matches. During this period, she engaged with wrestlers such as Nevaeh, Christina Von Eerie, and Candice LeRae. Her career progression included her debut with Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU) in April 2012, where she formed the tag team “Chicks Using Nasty Tactics” with Annie Social. This partnership led to their first WSU Tag Team Championship win on February 8, 2014. Additionally, Lee debuted for Shine Wrestling in January 2013 and later formed “The Kimber Bombs” with Cherry Bomb, capturing the Shine Tag Team Championship in March 2015. Her Shimmer Women Athletes debut in April 2013 also saw “The Kimber Bombs” win the Shimmer Tag Team Championship in April 2015.
A significant milestone in her career was her work with Chikara, where she became Princess KimberLee and secured the Chikara Grand Championship in December 2015, making her the first female wrestler to hold a top title in a major non-female promotion. Her involvement with WWE’s NXT brand began in 2017, using the ring name Abbey Laith, and she participated in the inaugural Mae Young Classic. After her WWE departure in 2018, she competed in World Wonder Ring Stardom and later signed with Impact Wrestling in August 2020, where she remained until 2022. Frankele announced her retirement from active wrestling on May 6, 2023.
