Kimmy Shields

Kimmy Shields was born in Torrance, California, USA, and later pursued her passion for acting by graduating from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy with a BFA in Musical Theater. Her career began to gain traction with notable appearances in acclaimed television series, showcasing her versatility as a performer. Early in her career, she secured roles that allowed her to work alongside established names in the industry.

Shields’ career progression includes significant roles in well-known productions. From 2018 to 2019, she was a series regular, playing Nonnie Thompson in the Netflix series “Insatiable” for 22 episodes. Prior to this, in 2017, she appeared in five episodes of the critically acclaimed HBO series “Big Little Lies” as Kelly, and also had roles in “Marvel’s Runaways” for two episodes, “GLOW” for one episode, and “Girlboss” for three episodes. Her film credits include “Ad Astra” (2019), where she played Sergeant Romano alongside Brad Pitt, and “Charlie Says” (2018) as Vicki.

More recently, Kimmy Shields has continued to expand her acting portfolio with roles in various television series and films. In 2023, she appeared as Katie in “Howdy, Neighbor!” and Nicky in the short film “Night Cafe.” She also played a paramedic in “Scream VI” (2023) and Kimberly in one episode of “The Watchful Eye” (2023). Her television work in 2022 included playing Chloe Brown in “So Help Me Todd” and Sheila in “9-1-1: Lone Star” in 2021, demonstrating a sustained and active presence in the entertainment industry across different genres and platforms.
