Kyle Thomas Harvey – also known as SuperDuperKyle and mononymously as Kyle – is an American rapper, songwriter, singer and actor. He is famous for his breakout track ‘ispy’ – featuring Lil Yachty – which stormed to number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2016. Also notorious for his work with SuperDuperCrew alongside Jesus, Brick and Maxx, his other notable collaborations include the likes of Chance the Rapper, Kehlani, Ty Dolla Sign, Miguel, G-Eazy, Yuna, MadeinTYO and many more. His other key tracks include the hit single ‘Playinwitme’ released in 2008, ‘Doubt it’, ‘Keep It Real’ and ‘King Wavy’. Named by Rolling Stone as “one of the artists you need to know” in 2015, Kyle has also taken the world of acting by storm making his debut in Netflix original film The After Party in 2018.
Born in Los Angeles, Kyle began singing when he 6 and rapping when he was 13. In 2009 he began to release his early mixtapes including Second Semester, Senior Year and Super Duper, already showing his promise as an up and coming artist. His first commercial mixtape Beautiful Loser dropped in 2013 followed by 2015’s Smyle.
In 2016 he rose to prominence after the success of single ‘ispy’, and two years later his debut studio album Light of Mine smashed into the Billboard 200 top 30 after receiving numerous positive reviews. In 2020 he dropped his highly anticipated follow-up album See You When I am Famous, and he is carry on his promising acting career with a part in upcoming American crime drama Cherry in 2021.
