Larry the Cable Guy, born Daniel Lawrence Whitney, is a prominent American stand-up comedian and actor renowned for his distinctive ‘Cable Guy’ persona and extensive work in film, television, and radio. After gaining significant recognition through regular appearances on syndicated radio programs in the early 1990s, Daniel Lawrence Whitney established his distinctive ‘Cable Guy’ persona, defined by the catchphrase ‘Git-R-Done!’ This breakthrough propelled him into the stand-up comedy scene, leading to his debut album, ‘Law and Disorder’ (1995). His album ‘Lord, I Apologize’ achieved RIAA gold certification in 2001, followed by platinum certification for ‘The Right to Bare Arms’ in 2005.
