Laura Perlongo was born on September 6, 1985, in Massachusetts, United States, and was raised in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. She pursued higher education at Boston University, graduating in 2007 with a degree in Commercial and Advertising Art and Social Psychology. Early in her career, Perlongo established herself as a freelance creative, offering her expertise as a copywriter for a diverse range of brands, including Calvin Klein, Derek Lam, Hyatt, Target, Vespa, Stella Artois, and NBC.
