Lauren Bath, originally from the Gold Coast in Australia, began her career as a chef. Her entry into photography and social media commenced with the early adoption of Instagram in 2011. Initially using an iPhone 5, she quickly developed her photography skills. Her consistent practice, shooting at least two to three times a week, combined with an understanding of the platform, led to significant audience growth. By early 2013, with over 200,000 followers, Bath made the decision to leave her culinary profession to become Australia’s first professional Instagrammer, pioneering a new career path in the digital landscape.

Her career progression saw her evolve into a prominent travel influencer and photographer. Bath has established herself as an experienced project manager, facilitating influencer campaigns globally. She has worked on more than 250 brand and travel campaigns. Her portfolio includes partnerships with major global destination marketing bodies such as Tourism Australia, Switzerland Tourism, and Tourism South Africa. She has also co-founded The Travel Bootcamp, a collaborative effort aimed at teaching individuals how to pursue paid travel opportunities.
