Lesley Manville

Lesley Manville is a highly acclaimed actress known for her extensive work across theatre, film, and television, recognized with numerous awards and an Academy Award nomination, making her a distinguished talent for diverse brand collaborations. After making her professional stage debut in 1972 in the West End musical I and Albert, Lesley Manville quickly established herself as a formidable talent across stage and screen. She gained early television experience from 1975 to 1976, appearing in 80 episodes of the ITV soap opera Emmerdale Farm. Manville cemented her reputation as a distinctive theatre actress, performing in new plays at the Royal Shakespeare Company and Royal Court Theatre, beginning in 1978.

Her television work continued to garner critical acclaim, with roles in Cranford (2007) and River (2015), as well as her starring role in the critically acclaimed series Mum (2016–2019), for which she received multiple BAFTA TV Award nominations.
