Lil Eddie

Edwin Serrano, known professionally as Lil Eddie, was born on July 12, 1988, in New York. The Filipino-Puerto Rican artist has established a significant career in the music industry as a singer, songwriter, and record producer. His career began in earnest in the early 2000s, signing with Yellowman/Big 3 Records in 2004, which led to his unreleased album, “Nobody’s Fool.” He later released his album “City of My Heart” in 2009, followed by “Already Yours” two years later. His work has achieved significant international recognition, particularly in Japan, where he has released five number-one albums and seen a demand for a Greatest Hits compilation.

Throughout his career, Lil Eddie has been a prolific songwriter and producer, contributing to a diverse range of artists across pop, R&B, and hip-hop. He has collaborated with major names such as Charlie Wilson, Maluma, Daddy Yankee, Prince Royce, Jessie J, Cody Simpson, Kylie Minogue, and Fifth Harmony, among many others. A significant milestone in his career was his involvement with television talent shows, including “The X Factor US,” “La Banda,” and “America’s Got Talent,” where he served as a vocal coach, head of music, and even a guest judge on “The X Factor (Malta).” He played a pivotal role in the formation of Fifth Harmony and helped develop CNCO.

His song “Statue” garnered considerable attention after being posted by BTS members RM in 2013, 2014, and again in 2021, leading to over 30 million streams on Spotify and 250 million views on YouTube. This exposure further solidified his reputation as a hitmaker. In 2020, Lil Eddie founded his own record label, “Broken Hearts Club,” signing his first artist, Yung Raf, and releasing their collaborative track “Outside.” He continues to release his own music, including singles like “Figura” and “All I Want For Christmas Is You (Tu Amor Esta Navidad)” through partnerships with companies like ONErpm, showcasing his evolving career as both a performer and an industry leader.
