Lior Raz

Lior Raz is an Israeli actor, writer, and producer known globally for creating and starring in the acclaimed series “Fauda.” After co-creating and starring in the critically acclaimed political thriller series ‘Fauda,’ Lior Raz quickly gained global recognition for his portrayal of Doron Kabilio, a commander in an undercover counter-terrorism unit. The series, which he co-created with journalist Avi Issacharoff in 2014, received widespread praise, earning six Israeli Academy Awards in 2016, including Best Drama Series. ‘Fauda’ was further distinguished by The New York Times, which named it one of the best international shows of 2017. Prior to this breakthrough, Raz honed his craft at the Nissan Nativ Drama School in Tel Aviv and appeared in Israeli TV series such as ‘Michaela’ (2004) and ‘Adumot’ (2004), followed by his first feature film, ‘Gotta Be Happy’ (2005), and roles in dramas like ‘Srugim’ (2008) and ‘Mesudarim’ (2009).
