Lisa Eder

Lisa Eder, born on August 12, 2001, in St. Johann in Tirol, Austria, is an active ski jumper representing SK Saalfelden. Her career in ski jumping began in August 2015 when she first competed in the Alpencup, securing 18th place. Her debut Alpencup victory followed in August 2016 at the Pöhlbachschanze in Pöhla. Eder made her Continental Cup debut in August 2017, finishing 15th in Oberwiesenthal, and nearly achieved her first podium finish in the Continental Cup in December 2017 in Notodden, placing fourth.

Eder’s World Cup involvement started in January 2018. Although she initially failed to qualify in Sapporo, she placed 36th in Zaō, marking her first World Cup race without earning points. Shortly after, she achieved sixth place in a team competition in Zaō alongside Chiara Hölzl, Claudia Purker, and Jacqueline Seifriedsberger. Her best individual World Cup result at that time was an eleventh-place finish in Oberstdorf in March 2018. At the Junior World Championships in Kandersteg, she earned 24th place in the individual event and seventh in the team competition.

Her career progressed with significant achievements at the Junior World Championships, including a bronze medal in the team event in Lahti in 2019 and two gold medals in Oberwiesenthal in 2020 in both the team and mixed team normal hill events. She secured another team gold medal in Lahti in 2021. Eder experienced her first top-ten individual World Cup finishes in February 2020 in Hinzenbach, placing eighth and seventh. She continued to achieve notable results, including a fifth-place finish with the Austrian mixed team and an eighth-place finish in the individual competition at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Recently, she achieved a silver medal in the team normal hill event at the 2025 Trondheim World Championships.
