Liv Boeree is a World Series of Poker and European Poker Tour champion, recognized for her expertise in game theory and physics, and a dedicated science communicator and effective altruist. After winning the European Poker Tour main event in Sanremo in 2010, earning a substantial €1,250,000, Liv Boeree established herself as a formidable force in professional poker. This monumental victory followed her earlier success at the 2008 Ladbrokes European Ladies Championships, where she secured a $30,000 prize. Her achievements in 2010 also earned her the ‘Europe’s Leading Lady’ title at the European Poker Awards and led to her becoming a distinguished member of Team PokerStars Pro.
