LOCASH, Wheelhouse Records’ and 2019 ACM “Duo of the Year” contenders, are reported to create a sound that mixes modern country and vintage heartland rock with an edgy vocal mixture. Chris Lucas and Preston Brust, both of Baltimore, Maryland, and Kokomo, Indiana, form the country music duet LOCASH. LOCASH debuted in 2015 with the gracious GOLD-certified success “I Love This Life,” followed by the flirty GOLD-certified #1 blockbuster “I Know Somebody”–their first trip to the top of the Country radio airplay charts–and 2017’s fun-loving romance song “Ring on Every Finger.” All three singles came from their album “The Fighters,” which debuted in the Top 15 in the summer of 2016.
In 2017, they were nominated for the ACM Awards for “New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year,” the CMT Music Awards for “Duo Video of the Year” for “I Know Somebody,” and the CMA Awards for “Vocal Duo of the Year.” The duo’s single, “Feels Like A Party,” was their first with the label BBR Music Group/BMG. “Brothers,” their new album, is now available. They were also on tour with Rascal Flatts and Chris Young, two hugely popular country music acts. Check LOCASH out on social media like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram where together they boast over half a million fans and followers across platforms.
