Lorena Wiebes

Lorena Wiebes is a prominent Dutch racing cyclist known for her sprinting ability and numerous victories in road, track, and gravel cycling disciplines. After becoming the Dutch National Road Race champion in 2019, Lorena Wiebes quickly established herself as a formidable talent in professional cycling. That same year, she went on to secure a gold medal in the road race at the European Games, notably outperforming veteran Marianne Vos. Further solidifying her early dominance, Wiebes swept the overall, points, and young rider classifications at the 2019 Tour of Chongming Island, showcasing her exceptional sprinting ability and all-around race craft during her debut professional season with Parkhotel Valkenburg, which began in 2018.

The year 2025 has seen Wiebes reach unprecedented milestones, marking her first cycling monument victory at the Milan–San Remo Women. Her career reached a significant landmark in March 2025 when she achieved her 100th race victory at Gent–Wevelgem. Further showcasing her multidisciplinary prowess, Wiebes also claimed the European Champion title in the Omnium at the 2025 UEC European Track Championships and became the UCI World Champion in Gravel in 2025.
