Lucy Fry

Lucy Fry was born on March 13, 1992, in Wooloowin, Queensland, Australia. She developed an interest in acting from a young age, studying theatre with the Brisbane-based physical theatre company, Zen Zen Zo. Her early career included an uncredited appearance in “H2O: Just Add Water” in 2010. Fry gained initial recognition for her role as Zoey in “Lightning Point” (2012) and subsequently as Lyla, a lead mermaid, in the first season of “Mako: Island of Secrets” (2013), a spin-off from “H2O: Just Add Water”. These early television roles established her presence in Australian children’s and teen programming.

Fry transitioned to feature films in 2014, playing Lissa Dragomir in “Vampire Academy” and Honey in “Now Add Honey.” The following year, she co-starred in “The Preppie Connection” (2015). Her career progressed with significant roles in 2016, including Poppy in “Mr. Church” alongside Eddie Murphy, Stephanie Taylor in “The Darkness” with Kevin Bacon, and the lead character Eve Thorogood in the Australian miniseries “Wolf Creek.” That same year, she portrayed Marina Oswald, the wife of Lee Harvey Oswald, in Hulu’s eight-part miniseries “11.22.63.”

In 2017, Fry solidified her international profile by starring as Tikka, an elf with powers over a magical wand, in the Netflix fantasy film “Bright” alongside Will Smith and Joel Edgerton. She later appeared in “She’s Missing” (2019) and joined the cast of the crime drama TV series “Godfather of Harlem” (2019–present) as Stella Gigante. Her recent work includes “Last Looks” (2022) and the Netflix thriller “Night Teeth” (2021). Fry maintains a consistent presence in both film and television, continuing to undertake diverse projects.
