Gavin Leatherwood

Gavin Thomas Leatherwood was born on June 7, 1994, in Hawaii, USA. He spent his early years there before moving to California and later to Oregon at the age of 18. His theatrical background included performances in plays such as ‘All My Sons’ and ‘Peter Pan’. Leatherwood began his on-screen career with cameo appearances in television series such as ‘NCIS’ and ‘Grown-ish’ in 2017, marking his entry into the professional acting world.

His career advanced significantly in 2018 when he was cast as Nicholas Scratch in the Netflix supernatural horror series ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’. This role spanned from 2018 to 2020 and involved 32 episodes, providing him with substantial screen time and audience recognition. Following this, in 2021, Leatherwood joined the main cast of the HBO Max comedy series ‘The Sex Lives of College Girls’ as Nico Murray for its first season, appearing in 9 episodes. He continued to broaden his filmography with roles in movies such as ‘Bad Therapy’ (2020) and ‘It’s What’s Inside’ (2024), where he played Dennis. The film ‘It’s What’s Inside’ was notably acquired by Netflix for $17 million after premiering at Sundance in 2024.

Beyond acting, Leatherwood has also pursued music. He released his debut single, ‘Just for Tonight,’ on February 19, 2021.
