Lukas Gage

Lukas Gage was born on May 28, 1995, in San Diego, California, and grew up in Encinitas, California. His early exposure to acting included attending film camp every summer and performing in plays and commercials. Gage began his professional acting career in 2013, with early television appearances in series such as “Enlightened” (2013) and “I Didn’t Do It” (2014). He gained wider recognition for his recurring role as Brandon Darrow in the web series “Tagged” from 2016 to 2018. His career progressed with notable roles in several acclaimed television series, including “American Vandal” (2017) as Brandon Galloway, and “On My Block” (2018) as Brad. A turning point in his career came in 2019 when he secured the role of Tyler Clarkson in HBO’s Emmy-winning drama series “Euphoria,” which significantly elevated his profile. This was followed by his portrayal of Logan in “Into the Dark: Midnight Kiss” in the same year.

His career continued to accelerate with a pivotal role in the first season of the Emmy Award-winning HBO limited series “The White Lotus” (2021), where he played Dillon. This role was a direct result of an audition process that went viral, leading to further opportunities. In the realm of film, Gage has taken on diverse characters in projects like “How to Blow Up a Pipeline” (2022) as Logan, which premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival. He also co-wrote and starred in the feature film “Down Low” (2023) as Cameron, alongside Zach Quinto and Simon Rex, which premiered at the 2023 SXSW Film Festival. His recent work includes the role of Adam Pratt in “You: Season 4” (2023) for Netflix and Lars Olmstead in the acclaimed FX anthology series “Fargo” (2023).

Lukas Gage has continued to expand his acting credits, securing significant roles in upcoming projects. He is set to appear as Billy in Doug Liman’s remake of “Road House” (2024), opposite Jake Gyllenhaal and Conor McGregor, and as Lewis Fregoli in “Smile 2” (2024). He also plays Patrick in “Companion” (2025) and Cat King in the new series “Dead Boy Detectives” (2024) for Greg Berlanti/HBO Max, based on the popular comic book. In October 2025, Gage will make his writing debut with the publication of his memoir, “I Wrote This for Attention,” further broadening his creative pursuits.
