Luna Maya, an Indonesian actress, singer, model, and presenter of Austrian descent, has made significant contributions to the entertainment industry. She began her career as an advertising and catwalk model, gracing campaigns for brands such as Lux, XL, and Toshiba.
Luna’s acting debut came with a supporting role as an antagonist in the 2004 film “30 Hari Mencari Cinta,” earning her critical acclaim. This success was followed by roles in “Brownies” (2005) and “Cinta Silver,” where she starred alongside Rima Melati and Catherine Wilson. Her impressive performances continued with “Ruang,” “Jakarta Undercover,” and “Pesan Dari Surga,” for which she received a Citra Award nomination for Best Leading Actress at the 2006 Indonesian Film Festival.
