Singer-songwriter, model and DJ MAAD has become one of the music industry’s most in-demand new talents. Well known for her collaborations with Norwegian hip hop/dance duo Madcon and with her cousin A$AP Ferg, MAAD has established herself as recording artist in her own right releasing two Eps – 2017’s Lè Funk and follow up Technicolor a year later – to genuine acclaim. Praised by outlets including Billboard and Highsnobiety, she has performed across the globe at the likes of Selfridges’ Music Matters in London, World Pride in Times Square with MNEK and LA Pride.
Her deep musical knowledge and ability to captivate live audiences has helped her garner a notable client list as a DJ that includes Instagram, Snapchat, Laura Mercia, Cartier and Tiffany & Co, PopSugar x Coachella and Spotify at Cannes Lion, where she enthralled crowds opening up for Bebe Rexa, Tove Lo and Nas. A familiar face thanks to her successful modelling career, she has been featured by ELLE, Seventeen, VFiles, Vogue and Anastasia Beverley Hills.
Born in New York, MAAD knew music was her destiny from an early age and attended the Harlem School of the Arts where she studied dance. Her career in the spotlight began as a model, but she also began to focus on songwriting which helped her begin working behind the scenes with esteemed musicians including The Stereotypes (Fifth Harmony, Bruno Mars) and Midas Hutch. MAAD then began to explore DJing as another creative outlet and the next organic step for deepening her musical knowledge. Since then she has risen to the top of her game as a DJ, whilst simultaneously making a name for herself as a solo artist. Currently working on new music, MAAD is a triple threat who is just getting started.
