Madina Milana was born on July 25, 1975, in New York City. She began her career in entertainment with acting roles, including appearances as a rapper in “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” in 2001 and as a teen mom and cafe waitress in “Cosby” in 2000. Her early work as an actress also includes roles in “Up in Harlem” and “The Brewster Project” in 2004, and an uncredited role in “Black & White” in 1999. These initial experiences provided her with a foundational understanding of film and television production.

Milana transitioned into significant behind-the-scenes roles, contributing to numerous major motion pictures as a casting professional. She worked as a casting associate for films such as “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” (2010), “The Avengers” (2012), “Man on a Ledge” (2012), “Delivery Man” (2013), and “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” (2014). Her contributions also include extras casting assistant for “Tower Heist” (2011) and casting coordinator for “New Year’s Eve” (2011). In television production, she served as a supervising producer and producer for 98 episodes of “The Wendy Williams Show” between 2008 and 2009.
